Accurate Distance Sensor

First of all, sorry for writing in english, but this will lead to easier communication. However the replays are welcomed in bulgarian or english.

My question is as follows:

I need to know if there is a small (any kind IR,US...) sensor which can measure distances in mm. (o,oo cm)

I have found some like: Сензор за разстояние I2C-It IR ( http://www.robotev.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_22&products_id=66 )

but as it states it can measure(return) distances from 10cm to 80cm.

I need measured distance from one single point on a given object that is in front of the sensor.

Има много начини за измерването на разстояние по оптичен начин.  Трябва да уточниш поне какъв ти е обекта до който ще измерваш и каква точност искаш да постигнеш.
